Poor service, fair food, but extremely pricey. The restaurant is equipped with electric fans and open air. In Florida it gets very hot several months of the year. We waited an hour in the heat to come inside and sit in the heat in plastic lawn chairs. We were a party of ten that were not seated together, drove separately, and paid separately but we were charged a crazy 18% gratuity fee because we walked in as a party of ten. Mind you, all the people in the party were kids except for 4 adults. Two set of parents and their children. I will not go back and hope you don’t go their too. If the food was free I would avoid it just because they were so rude, even the owner!

Treated awful by the owner. We have never been treated so poorly and by an owner at that! Ordered a steak medium rare (should be red in middle right) and it came out medium well (barely pink), had it sent back and seconds later the owner came out and yelled at us said thats what medium rare is, told us to shut up. Two people in our party got up and left because it was so insulting. We would have left as well except we had brought in fish we had caught fo r them to cook up. I was shocked to be treated this way especially when our food was not correct. We will never return and will let everyone we can know to not go there.

Amazing. As a local, my girlfriend and I frequent this place quite a bit. Lightly blackened grouper cheeks, tequila wings Daytona style, burgers, all you can eat crab, the fried shrimp….all amazing. Highly recommend this place.

Love this local dive!!!!. This is a local place that tourist love to discover. I have been coming here since we moved to FL in ’07 and have brought just about every visitor that has come down to see us, some multiple times. Once they experience the All You Can Eat Crab Legs, it’s a done deal. Monday and Tuesdays are the days to go for the Crab. Get there early if you want to avoid a wait, but if you have to wait until after work, it’s still worth it. Some days are better than others for the crab as sometimes they are on the salty side, but nothing that will stop you from eating them. Most of the time they are just right. With the crab you also get endless fries and some bread to start off the meal. I generally stay away from them as I would like to fill up on the crab as much as possible, but the fries are actually really good so I can’t help but to grab a few here and there. They bring you out re-orders in two cluster increments, which I am completely fine with because that means the crab will be hot and won’t have time to really cool down before you get your next order. We generally tell our servers how long to wait in between re-orders, we have been there enough to know how fast or slow we are at cracking the legs. Tip: If you are with a group, they will only bring out one set of fries… and will not refill or ask you if you want more, you will need to ask them if you want more of them. The place is a local dive for sure and I love it. Pictures and odds and ends line the walls and it’s pretty small inside so you can get stuck in the corner with no place to go. When that happens I try not to drink too much liquids cause getting in and out to go to the bathroom isn’t worth the trouble of crawling over your friends or the other tables. If you get the choice, ask for the patio. Also, the patio is pet friendly, we have taken our girls there several times and they love it!

Cooters All You Can Eat Crab Legs. All you can east snow crab was fantastic! Was pretty crowded when we showed up but had a table within 30 min. Only complaint was the waiter seemed to take a while to come back around to our group. Not a big deal but it still was noticed…

The grouper sandwich, lightly blackened, with the signature Cooters sauce was absolutely delicious!! I’m not really sure what the Cooters sauce consisted of, but I used this in place of the tarter sauce. It gave the sandwich a nice added kick, without being too overpowering!! I even dipped my fries in the special sauce… it was oh so good!!

Beer, oysters and shrimp. What more could you ask for? Great service, great food and cold beer. Went in for happy hour and was not disappointed. Will be back soon,
