This great little place is right around the corner from my Skycrest home and I’ve eaten here many times. The interior is a little crazy and the food is AMAZING! It’s fresh, prepared to order and they really care. The best part is the food-I’ve had the corn fritters-amazing, the Gumbo? OMG! And the chicken is to die for. Spicy, crunchy, juicy and full of flavor. The couple that owns the place do an amazing job.The Crispy Cajun is a great addition to the many other privately owned kitchens in Skycrest. We have amazing Mexican and other Latino cuisine here-we needed some cajun! Thank you Crispy Cajun!
It’s ok but not really worth going out of the way for. It’s not very comfortable inside with the seating and I’m not too particular and don’t need a place that’s fussy or pretentious but the difference is this place lacks a certain charm. The food is decent but I can make it just as good and better at home so not worth the effort and the wait. I want to like it but probably won’t be back.

Really Good Food. This restaurant has some of the best Cajun food that I have ever eaten. The jambalaya, gumbo, and fried chicken are all top notch. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and they go out of their way to make the dining experience enjoyable. My family and I eat there at least twice a month, and we have never been disappointed.
Best gumbo in the state hands down. Great food and prices are very reasonable. Love this place.
