First time diners, went for the broiled whole red snapper (deboned @ the table). It was quite flavorful. We also had the spanakopita, dolmades (stuffed grape leaves), athenian chicken, & rice pilaf. Everything was tastefully prepared. Charming, very attentive waitress (Marinela). Our share: App, 3 drinks, & 2 entrees came to $56 (tax & tip included).
Bad Visit to Greektown Grill. The food is good but don’t ask for anything extra. My wife and I got a take out … Pork Pitas. We asked for extra onions and have them grilled very brown (well done) … four times when we ordered. The onions came just lightly cooked and was charged $6 yes $6.00 for the extra onions for two pork pitas. We find that charge ATROCIOUS! Asking for extra onions and being charged for them is OK but not to be RIPPED OFF!!!!!!!!We have ordered Hummus from them many times and the order filled the entire bottom of the container … This visit only about 1/4 of the order and was charged $5 for the appetizer. We will never return.
