Great hang. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the servers were nice. Food takes a while, but is delicious. The full bar is a plus and you feel right at home. Not a bad joint at all and I’ve been back for sure!
First time dining Really …. First time diningReally great pub and bar food all around. Fish and chips very good. Reuben was very good as well. Very lean corned beef on thick good bread. My wife got the curried vegables which were also outstandingMany beers on tap English, local craft and a few domesticsFriendly servers. A little slow but it was Friday night fairly crowded and we were in no hurry so enjoyed the atmosphere
Burgers!. Go for the burgers! Had the grind house burger and it was perfectly cooked and so juicy. Fried egg, mushrooms, sauted onions…yum! Would love to check it out in the evening. Great looking beer selection and drinks. Will go back.
Warm pub atmosphere. Great service, good food! Had the shephard’s pie and it was delicious. Very attentive staff. My only suggestion would be to add a better selection of wine. With a full bar I would expect that.
A British sports bar with British owners? Sign me up!. The dining room is a spruced up Beef O’ Brady’s, but the food is something on the other side is special! They have a solid mixture of american bar classics done right and great British pub food! The menu has a lot of options and their daily specials are worth paying attention to! First, their wings are big and really really good! The cook makes some fantastic soups! Sunday Roast is an absolute MUST! It’s soo tasty and come with mashed potatoes and Yorkshire Pudding!!! Go try this place, it’s fun and great food!Oh yeah, BEEEERRR!
Pleasantly Surprised!. Upon entering the place I thought – oh no…barfood! Everything was surprisingly tastey – really enjoyed the experience.
Great!. My initial impression of Grind House was the place was merely a cheap gimmick to attract locals looking for something different for dinner only to find the same ole stuff. I was pleasantly surprised to find the place actually lived up to its English/Irish food premise. My group ordered a nice selection of classic British dishes including sausage rolls, scotch eggs, Guinness Pie, and of course Fish and Chips. All of these were prepared beautifully and past the test of my brit friend. There were a few hang ups such as the chips not really being the right consistency (too thin but still quite good) and no British desserts (though this might be a work in progress sort of thing). Overall the meal and service was fantastic and definitely worth visiting. On a follow up note, anyone planning to use a groupon needs to print it out in order to be used (they wouldn’t accept showing it through my Iphone as I typically do).
