Great breakfast with wonderful staff. Off the main drag but definitely worth visiting. The outdoor seating area was cozy we enjoyed the ocean breeze and sounds of birds in the bougainvillea
Worth the visit. My wife and I were visiting from Sarasota. It was around noon and noticed the diner so we stopped in for lunch. The diner was clean & organized, the waitress was fun and helpful. Several police officers were there eating and helped us choose our menu items. The food was a little dry but ok. It was still worth the visit.
RUDE ! STUFF AND The OWNER ! no r feels until you beg owner and his stuff should control their voices n dirty language while in the kitchen we heard it all
Excellent! Don’t let the exterior fool you.. The food is fantastic here! My son and I were visiting the aquarium and walked across the street to Island Way Cafe for lunch. I had pretty low expectations, but my lunch was the best meal I ate while in Clearwater, by far. Can’t say enough about the yummy food!! I had the mahi BLT. Fantastic.
Nothing, They Wanted to Charge Us For a 1 and 2 Year Old to Share Our Plates. We stopped here to grab a bite before going to the aquarium across the street. Needless to say we didn’t even eat here. My husband wanted fish and chips and I wanted the humus with chips and vegetables. We were there with our 1 and 2 year old who always eat off our plates. The owner of the restaraunt wanted to charge us extra for having the babies share with us. Seriously. We walked out. I’ve never been told I had to pay for my babies to share my plate. What does it matter who eats the food. This place needs to go away. We went around the corner to the Island Way Grill. The food was delicious and cost less than this place did.
