False advertising. Our office decide to try Joe’s for lunch. The reason was the coupon that was in the local flyer. The coupon read as follows one coupon per person for a $5.00 lunch. I called the restaurant and asked if the coupon included the paninis and also if each person could use the coupon since everyone was paying for their own bill and was told yes..We have 25 people that work at our office but only 4 decided to get food from Joe’s. When the gal went to the restaurant with separate cards and cash for each bill she was told she could not use it for each order…What???? So we paid full fee, since the food was order but will never go to this deli again. I Guess that is what you call penny smart and dollor stupid. Also the bread and fries were so soggy it was awful..
Great food, exceptional service. This was my first experience with Joe’s. Myself and a co-worker decided to place a delivery order today at her suggestion. Our decision was based on the fact that today it is raining heavily and our building is very close to a minor league baseball stadium, and with spring training games brings extra traffic. I asked ahead of time before placing my order what the approximate wait time was and was informed 45 minutes. Considering the conditions on the road, I found this perfectly acceptable and placed my order.Our food was delivered at the promised time, warm, fresh and tasty by a courteous delivery driver who we tipped graciously for his service. I ordered a Cuban with a side of fries which was just about perfect.Approximately 45 minutes later, I received an unsolicited call from the manager who wanted to follow up and make certain I was happy with the service I had received, explaining his concern for the long delivery time and providing a through explanation. This was well beyond the level of customer service I expected to receive and it’s great to know that this company will go out of it’s way to serve it’s customers in this manner.I would absolutely recommend Joe’s Deli for lunch just about anytime. They’ve completely snatched my business away from Jimmy Johns.
