Good honest Italian food. My wife had the shrimp scampi. The shrimp were cooked very well but lacked some flavor. I had the chicken Marsala which was good but I loved the included linguine. Service was real good. Lots of good food on the menu to choose from.
My food had bugs in it PLUS the manager is and has his filthy beard near the food. No wonder! The main cook seems clean but the manager is filthy and has his filthy beard near the food or gets his filthy beard’s bacteria and viruses over our food, when he carries the food dishes. I thought it was UNLAWFUL and FORBIDDEN by Health Laws to have employees who work near or with the food have facial hair. I was there for lunch and another time for dinner. The second time I went because my friends insisted in trying it but both times I saw bugs in the place and in my food. Not going there again!This restaurant should have several UNANNOUNCED, IMPROMPTU VISITS BY THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT.
well, considering I literally lived next door to johnny’s for two years I may be a littlebias. But waking up to the smell of delicious, fresh garlic bread being made daily was hard to resist when I’d leave the house for the day. I started going to Johnny’s out of convenience and haven’t stopped going back. it’s delicious, service is fast & waiters are polite and efficient. the bread really is the best part, but I have yet to find a dish I didn’t like. please be warned you may be wafting garlic around for days after eating though. johnny’s, although delicious, is potent.
Always good! I live in Clearwater and Johnny’s has become my go to restaurant when I am in the mood for Italian food close by. Very friendly service and the food is solid every single time. If you are looking for a good Italian restaurant in Clearwater to take the family or for date night this would be the place to go.
My husband and I tried Johnny’s for the first time last weekend and it was excellent. I had the shrimp scampi, he had the meat lasagne, both excellent. The Johnny bread was outstanding. Wanted to try some dessert, but we were too full. I think we’ll get it to go next time. Definitely going back, it’s close by and so yummy!
Good Italian restaurant. Johnny’s has classic Italian dishes in a nice atmosphere. I got the chicken Parmesan and wasn’t disappointed. When the pasta that came out on the side didn’t come out the way I wanted, it wasn’t a big deal but the waiter noticed and apologized, he along with all of the staff was very nice. The bread and olive, like at many Italian restaurants, is addicting! We also sometimes get pizza from here for takeout – it comes out quick and tastes good. Just to let you know, it sometimes can get pretty crowded here – so you may need to make reservations!
Bad Attitudes…. Forget about calling in an order to go. The Ladies who answer the phones are so rude. They place you on hold every time you call and never come back. The last time I called the lady snapped at me when asked not to be put on hold again. She was very very rude. They just lost another customer. Called 12:04 pm on 8/22/14
