Juanita and her husband were a joy to talk to and the food was delicious!!! Brought my daughter along and she couldn’t stop raving about how good everything was. I placed an order for a dozen pasteles and some coquito. Definitely a new grub spot for me!
It was Okay! I ate there with my husband; one thing I have to say they need to improve a little more on their dishes. But overall the pernil was delicious and had taste and so was the steak and onions. The Alcapurria was not your typical alcapurria it had the taste but it seemed like it was left with a little too much oil. The rice with gandules was a little hard but, I guess since I went there by five o clock it made a difference since they close at six. The place is surely small and they could improve there food and the atmosphere a little more if they want to stay in business. I wish them lots of luck!
Great Cuban sandwich and people were very nice. Tiny place but no worries. Chef went to johson and Wales. What a find
