I love this place but it’s very pricey!! I paid 16$ for one sushi roll. It is so good that I would go back, however, only on a limited basis.
This is a tiny little place with room for about 30 patrons. It’s nice and clean and well lit. We were there at a Friday dinner rush and the three sushi chefs and the three waitstaff we’re doing a fairly good job of keeping up with the full restaurant. It took more than 20 minutes for us to get our first appetizer, but watching all of the other yummy sushi concoctions go by helps pass the time.We had the Alaskan crab tempura appetizer. The tempura was nice and light and crunchy; just the way tempura should be. My only complaint was that there were only three medium sized pieces of crab in the appetizer. Probably a reasonable amount of crab for the price of the appetizer, but if you want a *lot* of tempura crab, this may not be your best choice.I had the Tokyo Tower. I don’t remember all of the components, but there were a lot of them, and they were awesome! Very tasty, very flavorful, even without any soy or wasabi. The construction and presentation were spectacular.Holly had a red curry chicken Bento box. At first I thought the $23 price tag felt excessive, but when it came it was well worth it. It was an enormous amount of varied types of food. There was the red curry chicken, of course, and three gyoza, some more vegetable tempura, a pile of rice to go with the curry, three pieces of Nigiri sushi, and soup or salad. It was all delicious. The miso soup was particularly good. The service was good. Because it’s such a small place, all three of the waitstaff were helping everybody in the restaurant at different points. We’ll definitely be back.
