It looks good. I like that its close and has a good atmosphere. the servers were prompt and on point. they have a great variety of options and decently priced. My self and 2 others have given this place a high rating. Dp sounds too whiny about his eggs. probably why he’s getting double stuffed. over all great service and great food.
Best diner food in Pinealls county, if your looking for a clean good diner with fast service this is it. The food is a far cry from healthy but who cares when you come to Lenny’s.
My order consisted of two eggs over easy (came out over medium & a little rubbery), four pork sausage links (fried nicely w/ char & tasty), home fries w/ onions (had such an off-flavor couldn’t eat them), grits (decent but luke-warm & noticeably grainy/not cooked long enough), & the signature basket of pastry (nice). My wife had the eggs Benedict & pancakes. She found the hollandaise to be on the thick side, but otherwise fair. Our waitress, Jenny, was attentive. Total tab came to $22 (tax & tip incl) for two hearty breakfasts. The ambiance of Lenny’s is quaint & entertaining.
Fantastic! What else can I say? Their breakfasts are plentiful as is the rest of the menu. I have been going there for 20 years and never had a bad meal. My favorite are the fried potatoes. The servers are fantastic and very friendly! Be prepared to wait for a table cause they are busy. It’s well worth it and they move people in and out fast. If you don’t know what to order just close your eyes and point randomly one the menu. You’ll love whatever you choose!
So glad my husband found this place! Cool, old school diner feel with a bit of a baseball theme. The Danish basket is amazing. If I lived here I would be in everyday for the Danishes and coffee. The bloody marys are really good too. Great flavor and spice. I got the alligator omelette which was huge and stuffed full of gator, cheese, and onions. Careful with the duck bacon. It is more like ham than bacon but still good. Service was excellent and I love the feel good messages on the ceiling!
My wife raved about a place called Lenny’s when we first met. When we travelled to USA it was our first stop, and man was it goooood! Typical diner setup, boothed seats and bottomless coffee. The family owned restaurant is known for their breakfast, and that’s what we came to get. I ordered dacon (duck bacon) with scrambled egg, hash brown and home fries. The wife got deep fried chicken hollandaise on a waffle with a biscuit. Both meals were filling, delish and left us satisfied. I just love the decor, baseball bats on the walls and picture frames of the family that owns the diner. It’s a popular spot and I can see why.
Excellent food and even better service, exactly what a diner should feel like. Dan’s famous Gator Omelette lives up to its expectations. Hollandaise or Cajun? Can’t decide, have both! Excellent home-fries and hot coffee keeps on commin! Perfectly cooked eggs and crisp bacon with the addition of those dollar sized pancakes. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for cozy comfort food.
