  Pretty good tacos for Pinellas county. I ate at Mexico Lindo a few times on my search for the best taquerias in Pinellas. While few of the taquerias come close to the flavors I’ve found in the southwest, my goal has been just to find the best we have and enjoy.This is a well-stocked Mexican grocery store in a small strip mall near downtown Clearwater. In the front right side is a small taqueria, with about 8 or so tables for dining in. You order at the counter, when the food is ready turn around and add onions/cilantro/salsa at the small condiment bar, then bring your food back up past the registers to the front of the store to eat. The condiments always appeared to be fresh. A good selection of bottled drinks are in the standard grocery coolers to the left of the taqueria counter. While they offer a number of other items, I stuck to the tacos on all of my trips, which are priced at $1.50. They have choices of some dishes in heated aluminum cafeteria-style trays that didn’t look too appetizing, so I never got very adventurous. I tried many of their taco meat fillings, but preferred the pork over any other choices. The tacos were pretty tasty, compared to most of the taquerias I found, and the mild salsa was very flavorful. So far, La Cabana del Tio is the best taqueria I’ve found in Clearwater, but Mexico Lindo turned in a good performance for their tacos alone.
