Our favorite!. Our favorite Chinese buffet in Pinellas county, or Florida for that matter.
Years ago, this was the buffet to go to, and they won awards when people voted. The place started going extremely downhill, then they closed for the remodel. While the place is very nice inside, the food quality has continued to suffer. I’ve experience things such as cold food on the buffet that should be hot, as well as an overall lower quality in the food itself. Pass this place, go to Chopsticks by Countryside Mall, or head a little south to Golden Wok in Largo.
Should have gone to Chopsticks. Live and learn. The food is not very good quality or taste. The hibachi grill was dirty but they kept cooking on it. At Chopsticks, it is very very clean after each meal is prepared. Also the customers in a booth across from our table changed her baby in the booth and left the dirty diaper on the booth bench. Yuck. Also, we saw a dirty baby diaper in the parking lot. Double yuck.
Absolutely the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Nothing was hot and the food was bland. I’m not sure how this place is still in business. It looks nice on the inside and outside but the quality of the food is horrible. And they don’t even serve general tso chicken!
What do you expect from a buffet?. This is a VERY typical Chinese buffet- which means dont go in expecting the same quality home-cooking youd get if you decided to unexpectedly walk into a native familys home dinner in Beijing. Youve been warned.FOODWith the above warning, there is a great selection of food. Most lean towards what you can get from Chinese take-outs (except all-you-can eat for a flat fee of course). And the cheap-o plastic puff pastries, jello, and sliced fruits for dessert. Theres a few American offerings like fries, pizza, and salad. If youre craving simple, Americanized sushi, theres about 20 choices to grab from as well as a small hibachi grill. SERVICEAhTHIS part is like every good Asian restaurantvery serious servers who barely smile yet are very brisk and business-like in getting the job done. AMBIANCEVery niiiiice. Nicely dimplus the neon lights above and dark walls could almost create a romantic setting… except the feel is totally casual and chatty.Nothing is WOW or overly home-tasting (or fresh) but if you have a craving for Chinese take-out, are hungry, with limited cashthis is a good choice in the area.
Is it me? Why does the food at all Chinese buffets taste the same? Like it has been mass-produced. And while I was there I couldn’t help but notice the place smelled funny. Won’t be back.
The buffet table food was good. Sushi was terrible, I’m probably gonna get sick from it. Waitress was no where to be found, and tguys sakihe man child at the front register was unpleasant. Saki is across the street guys go there for your sushi its made to order
