Not true!! Whoever wrote the review by Dunedin is clearly not a customer but a business trying to take customers away from this FAMILY OWNED restaurant.. the sauce has no comparison whatsoever with chef boyarde they make their own sauce and everything is always fresh and delicious if you haven’t tasted their pizza than you don’t know what you’re missing…and their chef sal is a great talent and cooks the best food however you desire it.
Terrible!!! House salad was a bowl of yellow and white iceberg lettuce. The sauce is reminiscent of chef boyardee, no salt, pepper, garlic, Parmesan cheese, crushed red pepper, etc in sight. Pizza is bland. Rather eat little Ceasars, and I hate that place.

Best food ever!. I just read the past comments, and i’ve been going there since they first opened. and I had one problem with the service, but there was a problem because they were busy! i can understand that! I think it’s the best food around! i used to go to Boardwalk pizza…but not anymore! sal’s pizza is the best! never had a complaint! i’m telling everyone about this place! keep up the good work!
Good food but VERY slow service. I called my order in ahead of time on my second visit and they had not even started making it 45 min later. Disappointing to say the least.
Pizza was ok but it was floppy soggy and rubbery the Philly cheese steak bread was hard as a rock couldn’t really enjoy it
The Best PIZZA!. While on vacation in Clearwater our family eat sal’s pizza we all agree it is one of the best pizza’s around. (even the family of Sal’s were so kind.) Maybe someday they will open in the North.
