No wonder …. I am tired of hearing that it’s so difficult to have a successful restaurant. Sal’s is the perfect example of why so many fail. We walked in an weren’t greeted at all by Sal, of the ten tables in the place only one was not dirty. Another had paperwork and a laptop on it. We ordered a large pizza, which was very good … But our large salad was swimming in ranch, we were only given one set of dirty, stuck to napkin silverware. I realize this just a quick pizza joint, but no service and although the place was empty, we felt like we were bothering the guy by ordering. Prediction: despite very good pizza, Sals will joint thousands of failed restaurants within a few months … Will anyone wonder why?
It’s ok. I have gone twice now for their lunch pizza. Two slices of pizza and a can soda. The pizza slices are big but lack in flavor. They are bland and you have to add seasoning. It’s ok for a quick run in for lunch. Haven’t tried the rest of the menu.
