I was surprised at how good the food was, given its in a hotel lobby. We sat at the bar and the service was very good. Expensive… But good food and nice ambience.
Terrible Service for a upscale Resturant. My review is not all negative! Food very good! Steak very flavorful, the has browns incrediable taste. Alaskan Crab Legs sweet cracked open very good. Service terrible! Added premium vodka to our bill when I asked for well vodka. Interrupted when trying to order by another employee. Club soda added to my drink I asked for tonic. Service unprofessional!!
Pricey, but good food. I completely enjoyed our meal at the restaurant. It has a nice view overlooking the Intercoastal waterway, and the lounge entertainment did not over power our table discussions. While it may cost you almost $50 for a steak, and very expensive sides to go with it, that is standard for a good steakhouse. The steaks were prepared properly, and the service was impeccable. I would certainly recommend this restaurant for dining, but it could easily get very expensive for a family of four or more on vacation.
On their Carnivorous Game. Don’t be apprehensive about this hotel location. It certainly stands the test when compared to other so called purveyors of steak. Try the chef cut 12 oz. filet mignon for starters. Always cooked to perfection topped with a wine reduction and carmelized bits of roasted garlic. The portion is sized for sharing as are the ala carte sides. Highly recommend for a special water side night out.
Completely tasteless meat, unacceptible for a steakhouse. To be fair the appetizers and salad were good, but after all I went there for a good steak. I’ve had better at the ‘roadhouse’ for less than a third of the price.
Very Nice Dining Experience. Gorgeous view of the intercoastal waterway, but facing east so no sunset. Nice decor. We had two attentive and efficient servers for a table of four. Lobster Bisque was watery with no lobster, just the flavor….more like Lobster Broth. Barbeque Shrimp and Crab Cake were very good. House Salad was very good, Caesar Salad was fresh and crisp, but average. Filet was cooked as ordered and very tender. Lobster Tail served with drawn butter in a candle heated carafe. Very good, but shell was charred. Sides were ala carte, but large enough to share. Chocolate Mousse Skyscraper Cake was to die for! Smooth and rich, served with a chocolate sauce and large enough for 4 to share. Very nice dining experience, but for special occasions, as it is expensive.
