City Grille Needs to Improve their seafood. A party of four ate at City Grille last night and I have to tell you the mixed seafood grill was horrible. First of all I have loved this place, but last night I am thinking differently about ever ordering seafood their again. My salmon was so dry, unappetizing, and just awful I could not eat it. The scallops had that fishy taste and last but not least, the shrimp was slimy and undercooked. I will not be dining their again. On the positive note, my friends enjoyed their prime rib.

Ridiculous restaurant. Never before in my life have I seen a restaurant print a timeline on their menu telling guests they have 90 minutes to eat. Ever heard of the hospitality industry you knuckleheads?!? Why would you explicitly tell your guests to get out? Turning tables is a part of server training, not a mandate on paper. Food marginal, service needs work. Would be nice if the bartender actually worked until close instead of sitting down and joining guests and start drinking with 7 tables still working in the dining room. It’s a shame, they have a good looking room that could be a solid base for a great business, but their half-baked efforts and talent are letting it go to waste. Ditch the disposables and learn how to plate sauces, dress salads, set a table without a paper placemat. Why on earth would you put a $99 cab on a 12-bottle wine list? Makes no sense, but I guess there isn’t much that makes sense here.

Unwelcoming. First off this is not the place to take kids. They are very unfriendly when it comes to children. I can somewhat understand this since they seem to cater to the snowbirds not families. The restaurant has a very unpleasant smell. The food is mediocre. The service varies. They are not organized enough when the restaurant is full. We had the host serve us one night due to this reason. I have tried giving them the benefit of the doubt which is why I have returned several times but at this time I will not be returning.

Great Food!!! Best Prime Rib. Best Prime Rib in town! What a treat! My wife and I ate here for the first time tonight. I ordered Prime Rib and my wife had the Salmon Cozumel. Both were delicious. Our server was attentive and the atmosphere was inviting. Will be going back again!
