Great Ribs. Cant say enough good stuff about Oakwood. The consensus at our table: everything on the menu they seem to do well. I personally love the Ribs. Great service. Will be back again for sure.
Pretty decent food for the price. The grilled chicken and fried pickles were good! Staff and atmosphere are nice, and the place is clean. Would definitely return for an inexpensive lunch or dinner.
Good ,not great.Beans good,but not hot (temp).Garlic toast,dissapointing,not toast and not garlic.Did not eat the bread.Liked the BBQ sauce .Ribs and beef good.Great service.Overall ,Good food at a good price…….(update)after a few months ,went back …..much better this time.Beans warm and good,bread was toasted,ribs juicy and tender.Beef and onion with au jus dip, excellent.Smoked Chicken,tender and juicy.I didn’t care for the collard greens though,exchanged for good mac-n-cheese.Will go back.
Had a full rack of ribs on special, baked beans, fries and sweet tea. The ribs fell off the bone, not a lot of flavor, same for the beans. Plenty to eat. Not bad food for the price.
Well not much to say here. Food was mediocre at best, bland and smoked chicken was very dry. I have made better chicken over a fire pit! Lots of old people when we walked in so that was a first sign of blandness, i was with my grandpa and even he didnt like it. I will not be back even though i live 2 seconds from here.
Typical bbq food, but very good! Price range is right in line with other restaurants of it’s caliber. Would definitely recommend it to anyone. The armadillo eggs are awesome!
