First time diners. Had heard It is great:. Our experience: beer selection of local craft beers poor: Sweet potato fries rolled in sugar and served soggy and hardly warm. ate them but think the waitress should tell tat they are rolled in sugar. Turkey sandwich was big but average. Hamburger also better elsewhere. Won’t be in a hurry to go back

Went last night met up with a friend who was in town . We both use manual wheelchairs , the place is totally accessible . We were greated and seated right way wasn’t overly busy . Considering it was a Thursday night at 800 .Waitress came right over see if we wanted drinks. Brought waters explained the menu and vast amount of drinks ordered a bottle Melbec for us, it was real good . For app ordered the chips and blue cheese was good way more food for than for 3 people .My wife and friend ordered the salmon special . Nice cuts of fish and cooked how they wanted I had the rib eye tender and cooked med rare as I ordered . All food was hot and good portion. Ended with a shared a espresso bread pudding it to was good with cappuccinos Bill was 156 which I thought was fair with a bottle of wine . I would go back again . For me the wait staff makes or breaks a business , they did a good job

Some of the best burger in a 20miles radius. The pineapple burger is delicious, the craft beers are good. The chef here had a food truck, and it worked soooo well they opened this gem in clermont out of all place! You will never go eat a fast food burger after you enjoy a gourmet burger!

The Crooked Spoon is one of Clermont’s best kept secrets, but it’s time to spread the word on this fabulous restaurant! Our waiter was phenomenal and was so incredibly helpful and informative. The restaurant began as a food truck but when popularity spiked, they transformed to a restaurant. They have daily food specials and deals, so check out their website for more info on what day suits you! The day we went they had 14oz prime rib with fingerling potatoes and broccoli on the specials list for only $24 and it was mouth watering good!!! It was also they day they do discount tap beers and specialize in local beers (I love places that stimulate the local economy) – I ordered the Funky Budha Floridian which tasted VERY similar to a Blue Moon. The pulled pork slider shown in the photo below is an app and you can order however many you want for $3.50 each and it comes with housemade chips and is REALLY good! My only complaint was my meal which is shown below and is primarily my fault because the ramen style noodles is not my favorite, but then it did not come with nearly enough duck on top and I had ordered double for $5 more.

Disappointed! Crooked Spoon used to be one of my favourite restaurants, it’s casual, cool environment with good food kept me coming back. I guess on Monday (says our server) they rolled out a new menu eliminating several items as well as adding several new features and surprise surprise they eliminated pretty well the only vegetarian MEAL option (the portobello sandwich) besides a salad or some appies. This sandwich was amazing! I ate it every time I came here and never got sick of it! Easily one of my favourite food items period! Yeah, I am a vegetarian and boy do I get sick of eating salads constantly as my only option. We started with the hummus platter as well as the chop salad. The Hummus platter is always good, I’m glad they don’t put the hummus on top of the naan bread anymore. The Chop salad used to be amazing, this time I was rather disappointed. The portion size seemed to be greatly reduced. The dressing seemed a quite bitter and the salad consisted of about 99% lettuce with very little strawberry and walnut goodness. For dinner, My boyfriend and I ordered the Mediterranean wrap with no chicken sub mushrooms with the house kettle chips. HOOOLY I dream about those chips, they are good, real good. They made up for the lack lustre wrap. The wrap was okay. It again was about 99% lettuce with three strips of mushroom that didn’t seem to be seasoned at all, Garnished with a red wine vinaigrette, red pepper hummus, cucumber, pickled red onion, olives and feta. Wrap was overall wildly mediocre. I pulled it apart after about two seconds because it was not a good wrap to content ratio. I’m a wee bit choked that I paid $11 for a tortilla stuffed with lettuce. It’s frustrating to me when restaurants eliminate vegetarian options because like me there are many others who do it for health reasons plus the number of veggie heads is only increasing! Overall the staff and the chips were the only redeeming qualities of my recent experience. My server was very timely, polite as well as knowledgeable.

This place should have stayed a food truck so they could drive out of town quickly. Whenever I travel I try to find local restaurants, so while visiting my parents I thought I would get them try something new. What a big disappointment the crooked spoon was. To start the hostess must have been having a bad day, and acted as if it were a chore to say hello and acknowledge the people coming in. Our see ever was very good and had some good recommendations. We started with the blue cheese chips. Sometimes less is more, which is the case here, they could have shown some restraint with the blue cheese. I ordered the 420 burger, a little small but the flavor was good. My wife and mother ordered the Avocado BLT. Both painfully picked out the edible parts to try and make a meal. The bacon, and I didn’t think that there was such a thing as bad bacon, but the crooked spoon found it. It was more fat than bacon, and the same for the bacon wrapped meatloaf. Leave the bacon off. What a complete disappointment.

Ick..icky. Food was ick. Trying to mix too many different flavors. Their attempt at fusion is just confusion. And way too expensive. Icky woman manager was mean too.
