This is the best place to eat if you want variety, good food, lots of it, and at reasonable prices. Jack will come out to see how you like the cooking and really wants your honest comments. LOVE this restaurant. We ate here four (4) time on a two week vacation and wish Jack’s were in our town. ( Service can be a little spotty since they’re usually quite busy, but by your second visit they know you.)

Although we’ve been in the area for quite some time, today was our first visit to Barrier Jacks. I had the pulled pork sliders and my wife had the French Toast. OMG, how fantastic they both were! Outstanding service from a very friendly staff, no wait whatsoever (great timing) and wonderful homemade food. We aren’t just coming back, this is going to be on our schedule probably weekly! I can’t wait to try everything else on their menu!!!

Go there!. Best breakfast and sandwich lunch on the beach. Great prices, good eats and local folks working there. Don’t expect haute cuisine or stuffy wait staff and you’ll be pleased. Expect a line at breakfast because it’s the cheapest good food on the beach and families flock to it. It’s worth it! They close at 3 so don’t expect dinner.

Best Damn Breakfast Beachside. This is the best damn breakfast beachside. Service is a bit slow here because of how busy they tend to get. An alternative is to get them delivered with Express Food Taxi for a service fee of $3.99. My personal favorite dish here is the 3 Large Egg Omelet. I am repeat customer because of this.

This is my 2nd visit to Cocoa Beach in the last 2 years. I had on my agenda to be sure to stop again at Barrier Jacks. As others had said, disregard the appearance & you will be in for a pleasant surprise. There crab cakes are fantastic and if you go on Sunday, they are served Benedict. Dom’ go if you are in a hurry to get seated because there will be a wait and a good reason for it. I would not suggest eating here if you are on the way to the beach. The amount of food they bring to you will sink you to the bottom of the ocean that is if you can still fit into your suit. Not only lots of food but great quality.

We were told barrier jack’s had awesome food, but we’ll never know. After waiting about 20 minutes at where we were told to wait to be seated; We were never greeted and completely ignored by the staff. Aftersomeone was seated in front of us we just decided to leave.

Yummy!. As one reviewer said-the best breakfast on the beach! The omelets are delicious and so are the hash browns. The grits are the best I’ve ever eaten and I’m a southerner! The oyster po’ boy was just right as well. The prices are reasonable and the service is friendly.
