Im confused if this is a junk store or a front for money laundering. Completely wasted beach front. No reason to ever go here. Especially with all the cool places in the area that dont leave you completely confused.
I don’t know why this place has so many bad reviews. They must be reffering go the restaurant next door but idk. We’re from Louisiana so we know our seafood and this place is on point. Food was not what i was expecting. It was very close to the food back home which is rare to find out of state anywhere. We read the reviews on here and it almost stopped us from coming. However, it was the clossest and next to the beach so we gave it a shot. Our server, Christine literally dropped what she was doing to greet us as we walked in. They have a (seat yourself sign) we sat outside so we could smoke. She brough our ashtrady about 60 seconds after taking our seats. We gave her our drink orders and she was back with them in under 2 mins. She then brought out complimentary bread and butter (delicous) We ordered our appetizer (oysters on the half shell) when she brought the drinks and they were out in 5mins. She checked on us several times before we were ready to order, some people would call it annyoing or rushing us but she was so sweet and attentative along with her great attitude it wasnt annoying like some servers who seem pushy to make u order because their busy. She genuinly didnt want us to have to wait. As soon as we picked what we wanted she had our order put in. I orderd the seafood platter off the appetizers menue as a meal (to much to finish alone) and my husband ordered the crab cakes (also left with left overs). The food was out in maybe 15mins. It was delicous. Our drinks were never empty. When we requested the check she returned with to-go drinks and the check in maybe 3mins. Its very rare to find a restaurant in a tourist area like this. I would suggest this restaurant to anyone looking for good seafood and excellent staff. Do not let these other reviews scare you away! We almost did!
