Came to the bar to watch a baseball game- they were very friendly and put the game on for us. As we watched the game we enjoyed playing pool and eating some great Mexican food. The burritos are huge and very flavorful! If you enjoy spicy food the habenero salsa is delicious. There are also hot dogs and grilled cheese for those who don’t like Mexican food. Highly recommend this place – affordable also and great drink specials!
Finally stopped in for take-out. Seemed a little dirty and everything felt a bit sticky but the staff were friendly and accommodating. Took our food home and after the first bit and WOW. Don’t care if it’s a little dirty or technically not authentic, this is some of the best stuff we have ever ate. Don’t miss this place
No frills about this sports bar. But you’ll find unexpectedly good Mexican, more contemporary than authentic. The service it’s friendly and quick and pours a better drink than most bars in the area.
Sports bar, B-grade food, smoking allowed. I kind of want to say this is an adult, non-chain version of Beef O’Bradys. The food was slightly better than average, which is better than Beef’s but not quite as good as Yellow House. I had chips (good and sturdy) and guac (probably store-bought) and a habanero chicken burrito (typical Florida pseudo Mexican). Good sized portions for the money, on a positive note. The beer selection was a notch above average, with 3 Konas and 4 Europeans, better than Beef’s but less obscure than Yellow House. Ashtrays were everywhere (unlike Beef’s but similar to Yellow House), but few smokers tonight. I still smelled it on my shirt when I got home. I think my verdict is, go to Yellow House if you can stand smoke for better food and beer. Stay home or maybe go for Slow n Low’s outside bar when you want sports without smoke (and even then there can be a little).
