Omelette. Ordered several ingredients for my omelette and as you can see it’s basically just egg.25 Jan, 2015Ordered a build your own omelet with several different ingredients at .5o cents a piece. The omelet was woefully short on any of the items I ordered and missing some, received mostly egg. Way too much money for what I actually received.
We went looking for a place to eat and came across the Big Biscuit: The food was pretty good, and the service was as well. The only negative would have to be that the bill took a little longer than usual to come. Would recommend 🙂
Great but…. I love this place, love the colors, how bright and fresh the decor is, and the service is good, not outstanding but good and they’re consistent and sincere nor rude. I have been on at least a half dozen occasions and the food is great, you get a lot of it!! I think they could have more vegetarian choices and should have real OJ, better creamer, etc. I realize the prices would be higher but I personally wouldn’t mind nor do I think anyone else would either, especially for menu items in which you have a choice, order it or don’t, but the OJ is a big thing for me, worst part about this place, I mean it’s Florida and it’s a breakfast place and it has the worst OJ ever, my kid wouldn’t even drink it, but that’s the worst thing I can say about it. Another great note, the bathrooms are always clean and neat, this too is very important in my book.
Mediocre. Instant grits, instant gravy, gas station creamer for coffee, frozen spinach, burnt toast, less than par salad/vegetarian options. Basically nothing is fresh, but if you want a bunch of food for relatively cheap, dine here. Service was pretty good, however, I won’t be back.
Great Breakfast, Great Service, Great Prices. My husband and I have a hard time eating out nowadays with a new baby in the mix but we have been wanting to try The Big Biscuit because we have heard great things about it. The food was well worth the worry that baby would fuss or cry and the service made our experience even more enjoyable. The owner even held the baby and put her to sleep! We both ordered over medium eggs because in my mind that is a true test of a good breakfast restaurant and they were absolutely perfect. Everything tasted fresh and the ‘big biscuits’ were definitely big and delicious. He ordered pancakes as well and they were truly divine. We will go back again and again and highly recommend it for a good simple breakfast. We are both vegetarian and they were very accommodating. They have lunch too so try it!
Arrive 10:30am on Friday,, bar was the only spots open for our family of 5. Order taken within 5 minutes, food took about 20 minutes. Pancakes, eggs, biscuit and gravy, grits, chix fingers, omelette. All very good and fresh, good food compared to what we’ve had in cocoa beach (been coming here since 82′) good service, will be our new breakfast spot until it changes like so many have.
Great food!. We had no wait time the food was excellent with big portions .We will go back for sure and they do open early(5:30) which is a plus for us.
