Very Nice Indian Cuisine. This is one restaurant I can count on for quality every time. The curry is excellent, the naan fresh and delicious and the appetizers are just right! The dishes are seasoned perfectly and range from mild to spicy (you pick your range when you order). This is the real deal folks, so if you can’t handle finely seasoned dishes -go elsewhere. My wife and I just finished our first meal here. How this place could only have been rated a 70% is beyond me. As you can see, i rately wrote reviews on here as the percentages are normally pretty accurate, but not infhis case. We had Samosas, Garlic Naan, Paneer Masala, and Mali Kafta. Everything was extremely flavorful, exactly the spice level we requested (medium-to-hot), and the service was fantastic. I spent the summer in London and ate at quite a few curry houses. This was actually better than anything I had there. Anyone who likes actual flavorful Inidian food, this place is a must try. If you’re looking for food court Indian, skip it and go to the mall.
Shocked that some don’t like it! Slightly different flavors than I have had some other places but really enjoyed my dinner of samosas and Mali kofta.
One of the worst Indian restaurants I have eaten at. We ordered a vegetarian dish, a lamb dish and a chicken dish, all of them had the same sauce with broiled chunks of meat/kofta balls in it. Prices are relatively high, service was decent though. Would not recommend.
Go here. Ignore the exterior (& the interior) & expect to leave happy. the food is worth the extra charges & bad service. SO. GOOD.
Not a bad little place. After reading the previous reviews, my husband and I were skeptical but decided to try Punjab out any way. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was really good and the service was very attentive and friendly. We liked it so much, we decided to eat there again a couple of nights later. Same level of food, same level of service. Now, I can’t say I’m an expert on Indian cuisin but my husband is part Indian and grew up eating the types of dishes served at Punjab. He was very pleased with the dishes. If you want decent Indian cuisine, you need to try Punjab. I doubt you will go away disappointed.
Pleasantly Surprised. After reading all of the negative reviews online, I was quite hesitant to try this place out. I’m glad I did. Although the restaurant was quiet the night I went (only two other tables, however, it was a Monday), our party of five had a lovely dining experience. Our service was professional and courteous without being intrusive. We ordered alot of dishes and shared family style. Everything was delicious from the appetizers to the dessert. Since three people in my party are vegetarians, this restaurant is a good option for us. We will definitely dine there again.
