I ate here with a friend on a Monday night. We got into our hotel later than we expected because it took longer to find ground transportation from the Orlando airport. It was about 8:00 pm when we set out from our hotel. I had looked up Thai Fuku before we left for the trip. I was still craving a bowl of Thai curry, and my friend was okay with that, too.We were seated promptly. Immediately, I noticed the sparse decorations. The feel of this place is a little bit better than a restaurant that does mostly take-out, but I have eaten at nicer looking Thai and Japanese restaurants. We saw the extensive sushi menu, but we both headed for the Thai entrees part of the menu. I ordered red curry with pork. He got a chicken broccoli stir fry. We both ordered brown rice with our entrees. It cost more, but it was definitely worth it. I think that they actually used black rice mixed with white rice judging by the appearance and taste of what we were served, but it had the earthy flavor that I like from black rice and brown rice. It was cooked sticky enough to hold together in a cup shape on the plate on which it was served. I was pretty hungry, so I had no trouble finishing the entire bowl of red curry. The vegetables were still a little bit tender. Any time I get curry with vegetables that are not mushy makes me happy. It was also nice to have what tasted like cucumbers in there. I don’t think I have ever had cucumbers in curry, but it was surprisingly tasty. The pork was well cooked and cut into bite sized pieces. I don’t know if I’ll ever be back in Cocoa Beach, but now I know that they have at least one good place to get Thai curries.
