Like it. Pretty good, nice sexy vibe & decor. Real cute place for a sushi date night. Fried calamari was fresh and tender.
GREAT SUSHI. Best suchi and rolls I’v ever had. I will go here for Sushimi, Sushi, and rolls from now on. I love it.
Great Food, excellent atmosphere. My title says it all … the food was excellent … probably the best Sushi and Sashimi I’ve ever had. I was there with a non-Sushi or seafood lover, and they were able to get a variety of other entrees on the menu. Everything from a good Steak, to Thai, to Chinese. Would definitely go thee again!!!
I ate at Japango a while back and ordered the chef choice and was pretty upset because out if all the courses that was made by the chef I would say 90% of what me and my date received was tuna. Don’t know if that’s all he had but after the bill was close to 200.00 dollars I was pretty ticked off because I thought that with how the rest of the menu read the chef would be a little more creative on his selection. Tries a little to hard to do fusion. I’m a big sushi eater and with the price being pretty high I would think there would be more a WOW factor. The menu looked good but what I received was not worth what I paid. Cmon 90% tuna for each course for chef choice for 2bills. Anyway hope they have revolved into what there menu preaches..
While the lightly steamed veggies are as fresh as the seafood, I found myself underwhelmed. Items failed to meet the anticipation generated by their menu descriptions. Vegetable accompaniments were sliced too large to be picked up by chopsticks and too crisp to be cut by just a fork (pet peeve). All this would have probably gone unnoticed if the menu were more competitively priced or execution was better than similar restaurants (Rise on SW 18th.) Not entirely off my list– will give them another try sometime.
