I am not a German food expert although I have eaten it many time in Kitchener Ontario (Canada’s German capital). Black Forest’s food was exceptional ….started with the Salmon Potato Pancake … Amazing. Both wife and I had different Schnitzels both were better than normal. The sauerkraut and red cabbage was to die for. Highly recommend this for amazing comfort food.
AUTHENTIC GERMAN FOOD~!!!!. When it comes to authentic German, the Black Forest Mill is as good as it gets! I heard that there was a recent change in owners/management and to my surprise, when I arrived, I was delighted to find none other than the Bokelmann family from the Heidelberg and Old Heidelberg restaurants running the place! If you know good German food in Naples, that name will be familiar to you. (The Heidelberg was voted best German a few years in a row back in 2005-2008 I believe). But back to the Black Forest, on this occasion, I started with the potato pancakes, main dish was the veal and for desert we couldn’t resist the famous apple strudel… The meal was amazing all around, flavorful, perfectly cooked and the authentic taste! I highly recommend it and will be back very soon!! If youre in Naples, you cant miss the BFM
Had dinner there today 10/18/2014. Food was good, service also good, food was not up to the standard as before found out Dale and Arthur no longer own the Black Forest Mill and the food though good was not up to the excellence when Arthur was doing the cooking.Missed the extras he was famous for the pate and side dishes. Have to give the restaurant a 6 today.
BEST GERMAN FOOD!!. Been at Black Forest several times and have had wonderful experiences every time. The food is excellent. Every dish that I have had there has been great. I have no complaints, only compliments! Great food and great service! I recommend this restaurant to everyone. I cannot imagine anyone being disappointed.

Stonebridge outpost. Dined there Thursday 21,2013 party of 6 ,restaurant was packed with other Stonebridge people from around the cornerFood is delicious,service very friendly and the owners Dale&Arthur perfect hosts.Outside Germany you hardly find better authentic german cuisine.Have the Octoberfest beer or a hearty Weizen!Going back very soon.
Finally, a mom & pop restaurant that is truly what it claims to be!! Absolutely delicious Staff smiling & genuinely friendly Chef made the rounds at tables. Small,clean & delightful. Thank you ..
