The place has great outdoor seating, beer on draft, and a friendly staff. But sadly, the food tasted all the same to me. My friend and I ordered and shared the Allie’s Swamp Platter and the Captain’s Platter which allowed us to taste their frog legs, alligator, grouper, shrimp, and oysters. All were recognizable as their own entity, however all had the same taste of being fried in the same over-used oil. Of the selection, the frog legs were gamy, the grouper was inedible, the shrimp and oysters were over fried, and the alligator was the least offensive. On that note I would only return for a cold draft on their porch.
