This is probably my favorite Cuban restaurant not solely in-town, but in all our South Floridacoast to coast. If youre going to splurge, this is the place to do itphysically and monetarily.The service is prompt but gruff, though Id argue thats part of the rustic traditional authentic Cuban island feel.Our waitress, Julianna, was able to give us outstanding service and was especially helpful pairing our willingness for spontaneity with astounding dishes.Every positive review and media coverage youve heard is 100curate and then some! Obviously the traditional authentic Cuban dishes with their own uniqueness is the main event, with top-notch servicejuicy and perfectly cooked.Dont skip dessert! The house-made dishes are out-of-this-world good, so save room…if thats even possible!5-stars are reserved for those few, this is one.
Every dining experience I have had at Fernandez has been pleasant. The Cuban food tastes authentic, the environment is lively, and the staff is attentive and friendly. I recommend Fernandez to anyone who wants to try real Cuban cuisine. My favorite dish is the mojo yuca. You will not be disappointed.
