Extremely disappointed, worst steakhouse in Southwest Florida. We had dinner there on January 3, 2015. We got there and our table was ready. The table was on top of other tables, there was no space between the tables. We were seated in the middle of the corridor and the waiters were bumping on our backs constantly. Too many tables for that space. The service was not good either. The waitress took forever to get our orders, we had to beg to get our drinks refilled, and when came time for dessert, I order mine and she said ok and left running and the other patrons could not place their orders. We had to wait another 10 minutes when she came back to our table. This was the worst waitress I have ever encountered in my life.Food, extremely disappointed, my husband ordered medium well steak and he got it raw, the other patron asked for medium rare and got it well done, the other asked for well done and got raw lamb and my shrimp was overlooked, hard as rocks. The polenta fries were frozen inside, we asked to be replaced, and 10 minutes later it came back cold again. The desserts were tasteless, does not worth the price tag.We always go to Capital Grille across the street, and I wish we had gone there, it is always a great experience. The ambience at Flemings is bad, tables are on top of each other, noise is unbearable, service is poor, food is poor quality, and for the prices that they charge., does not worth it. We will never go back there, I feel we were ripped off.

Disappointed. Four of us ate at Flemings last night. The first thing we noticed was the noise level as we entered the seating area. Most steak houses of the caliber they advertise have a much lower decibel level. We were seated at a table for 4 that was about 6 inches from the next table. Our waiter , Bill was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. He was a master of the upsale however. Each of our selections was accompanied by a larger and higher priced suggestion from the menu. He mentioned he was coming right back with bread hot from the oven, but we didn’t see any bread until our entrees were served. Oh, speaking of entrees- the kitchen was quite slow about those. Bill apologized for them. When the food arrived, both the salads and the entrees were quite good. The proteins done exactly as ordered. Overall, the noise level was too high for conversation, the room crowded with tables. Food was excellent , but slow coming. Our server was knowledgeable and personable, but the overall experience was not of the quality we expected for a steakhouse of this price level. Sadly, we won’t be back.

Flemings. My husband, my mother, and myself chose to eat at Fleming’s on Saturday night. We sat upstairs there. It was a little loud, but it was a full restaurant. Our server was very professional, polite, and we never had to ask for anything. He recommended a wine to pair with our NY strips. My mother even drank the wine. Even though one of our steaks was under cooked, Mark, made our night very special. He is the reason we come back to Flemings. He should be commended for his professionalism, politeness, and attitude. Lefites rule.

Top 5 alltime steak experience. I was strongly, strongly, strongly receommended to have my first anniversary dinner at Fleming’s from a friend of mine who absolutely couldn’t recommend Fleming’s (and how EXACTLY to order drinks, apps, entrees, etc) higher. My wife and i were not disappointed. Service was outstanding. I wish i had written his name down, he was just tremendous. Service seemed to run extremely smoothly throughout the establishment. drinks: i’m a caipirinha fan, and was pleased to see Fleming’s offered a muddled strawberry version. it was a good touch. Cachaca can be a tad overpowering in the drink normally. my wife ordered her standard chocolate martini, it was flawlessly constructed. appetizers: we skipped them, much to our friend’s chagrin. salads: split a Caesar. nothing special. decent. entrees: my wife ordered the filet medium and i ordered the Premium Ribeye(not bone in) medium rare. just tremendous, both steaks were cooked to perfection. sides: creamed spinach and fleming’s potatoes. both top notch. dessert: we were stuffed, but management gave us a staff signed Happy Anniversary card, a box of four truffles, and a $25 gift card upon return visit. WOW! Other notes; If you have the opportunity to dine there before early september, on a sunday, its Prime Rib prix fixe night. salad, prime rib, side, and dessert for $29.99. are you kidding me?!?!? FYI, here’s my buddy Nathan’s way to order at Fleming’s: Chiptotle Mac n cheese as appetizer. Prime Ribeye with another order of Chipotle Mac n Cheese, Fleming’s Potatoes, Sauteed Corn, and Chipotle Sauteed Spinach.

Great food, better service. The food was wonderful – we all ordered steaks and we were all satisfied. We went on a slow night, so the server spent extra time making us feel welcome. He was a cute little flirt too!

Too dark.. Food is good. Wine is excellent. The place is very dark, serious without much personality. Food is good, but I don’t really look forward to going back.
