It’s hard to say anything about Grain De Cafe. On the surface they look nice and they gained my interest, but aside from slightly overpriced-underwhelming pastries, there isn’t much here. The ownership doesn’t seem pleasant or supportive. I came here to the reviews of this place, curious of what other people thought and saw that the owner has lurked review sites, ready to scold anyone that doesn’t give him a perfect score. sad. At the drop of a hat, he attempts to throw passive aggressive apologies and states that previous comments were from the previous owner instead of trying to understand the complaint. Laughable. No doubt this review will be met with disgusting accusations of racism, abuse, or that the complaint is unfounded because this shop is somehow above reproach. You’re not.There is no excuse for having a rude wait-staff, nor inconsistency in your baking. Blaming crowd level, or blaming your wife is neither clever, nor graceful.I enjoyed the coffee, but it was a bit sour.I am new to the area, but the treatment I received from the owner via message was beyond unnecessary and below any civilized person.
En vacances du ct de Naples en Floride, j’ai eu l’occasion de m’arrter dans ce restaurant/ptisserie. J’ai eu la chance de rencontrer les propritaires, Yves et Marie-Jos. Outre le fait que ces personnes sont trs charmantes, j’ai pu dguster de dlicieux produits qui permettent de revenir en France le temps d’un instant. C’tait merveilleux !!!! En plus de a, le service est excellent et le restaurant, style vieille France, est magnifique. Pour tous les amoureux de la bonne cuisine franaise, je vous recommande vivement ce havre de paix qu’est Grain De Caf. 🙂
Grain de Cafe. Thios is such a cute little sidewalk coffee shop that reminds one of a Paris bistro. Really. It is so relaxing to sit and watch the tourists on the street. They have great bakery items on their menu. The coffee is very good, and it is one of the reasons I shall return here very soon..
