Best food around. It is the only food around. And it has attitude. Short menu but good offerings.The place is only open for lunch. The place is what I would call an experience with good food.If in the area I would go again.
Amazing food and really relaxed atmosphere. Had the swamp combo which included alligator that was great and crab cake. The frog leg seasoning was good too. The guava cheesecake was amazing and I would highly recommend trying it.
Nice find. Laid back, nothing fancy. Crab and grouper was very good. Would go again. Would like to try the fry bread next time.
Simple food, friendly service. Grab a beer from the cooler — you’re on the honor system, so save your bottle cap. A seat on the screened-in porch is nice if the breeze is blowing. I always get the crabcake sandwich — a nice portion, with fries. I’ve heard Joanie’s has changed hands recently, but I’d still call it the preferred stop on Tamiami Trail. Live music on the weekends is entertaining. They’re not open early, and I think they close at dusk, so lunchtime is it.
