The worst. Had booked table with OpenTable. Arrived a little early but was told our wait time was 5 minutes. We get our table and find the place is half empty. I ordered tilapia which tasted like some kind of chemical was sprayed on it. My wife had ordered truffle fries which should have had expensive truffle oil on them but brought fries with Old Bay seasoned salt on them. We have dined at the McCormick in Minnesota and liked it. This is a bad franchise. Go to one of the many popular restaurants next door.

Good experience. Well I made my pilgrimage for Vet’s day meal. It was fabulous. Beer Batter Fish & Chips. Hot and tasty fish , different tartar sauce, good cocktail sauce, Excellent hot bread. Cole slaw a bit too much onion. Nice Whiskey Sour drink.PJ my server did a wonderful job.BUT of course PJ nor the bartender know what or how to make a Brandy Separator.Only at Connors in Fort Myers did the bartender knew without looking up how to make it.For all you ignoramus out there it a wonderful and simple cocktail. Kahlua, cream, Brandy on top. Note cold Kahlua on vanilla ice cream is heaven.Anyway another wonderful experience at McCormick.10 Nov, 2013Fresh fish. Well, I was leery about driving 25 miles to this place. The reviews were not stellar.BUT they were ALLL wrong. This was a outstanding eatery. I arrived on time for my reservation and was quickly seated.Note. ( they have what the staff personnel call snuggle booth. Its a table that has a curtain so you may be alone with a romantic partner or you spouse. LOL:.)Anyway my server , Robert was attentive, cheerful and professional.I had a chilled shrimp appetizer large and fresh. ummmmm good.Bartender got my drink right . 3 places so far here in SWFL. lol.The main course of salmon on a cedar board with tators was fresh and delish . Presentation was wonderful. This was on a Sunday at noon. As I left there a short wait line.Note a manager also stopped by my table for a greeting. So if in the area give this place a try. It was worthy of my 25 mile trek from The Cape.November 2016 …McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood & Steak, Strada Pl., Naples, FL A growling in my tummy, 2cents on the food and chatter. The food. My oh my the food. I was served piping hot out of the oven fresh sourdough food. It is as close as San Francisco sourdough bread as you can get in this heathen state. Slightly more sour. Good stuff. My entree, Salmon, grilled to perfection on the outside flaky as it should be on the inside, Veggies of fingerling taters, squash, carrots and onions. Seasoned proper with only a slight dash more of salt for my taste buds. This was a wonderful dining experience, even with a newby for a server. Good job very attentive.Ahh there was a very noticeable hiccup. On the website it stated it would be open at 11 AM on a sunday. I called at 715 PM on a saturday to confirm. I was told yes. On my arrival at 1105 AM Sunday I was told they did not open til 1130 AM. I was told I needed to wait. But I could wait inside. HMMMMM with this confusion I should have been at least offered a coffee or soda pop at no charge. 2 other parties arrived with the same info. hhmmm. A lack of communication is a mist .But food was great. Definitely will return

Terrible Service. Went to McCormick & Schmick’s at Mercato for the first time two nights ago. One of the group members received a glass of presucco that was flat. When notifying the waitress she argued that it was bubbly when she brought it, so the presucco must have lost the carbonation during the time of the pour to the time it was brought to the table.Next, two of the entree’s were not correct, completely mixing up the mix and match selections.Lastly, one person in the group ordered a drink while finishing the meal. The drink never came, and we were charged for it.To say the least I was not impressed with McCormick & Schmicks at Mercato. For the money, would strongly recommend going elsewhere.

Sells frozen and imported seafood and calls it fresh and local. Overpriced and poor service.

Waste of a dining experience. This is a chain restaurant with chain level service, food quality and ambiance for too much cash. If you want real food made with care try K C American Bistro across the street. They have much better seafood and give you the kind of service this Applebees like carnival can’t.
