The chicken Thai Dynamite was too salty. I had it over brown rice which I felt was a bit undercooked. My hungry husband could not even finish his sweet and sour chicken saying it was too rich and he didnt care for the taste of the fried rice. The egg rolls would have been ok but mine was cold in the middle. Good concept, friendly service but bad food.
Nice Naked NoodlesRestaurant Review; Pei Wei Asian Kitchen: 2355 Vanderbilt Beach Road, Naples, Florida; 15 December 2018; my rating 4/5: Very good food, reasonable prices for made-to-order, prepared-on-site, quality, and freshness. No table service (except food brought-to-table). Self-serve napkins, plastic utensils, drinks, sauces. A down-scaled version of the P. F. Changs chain with 2 locations in Naples. Ample indoor tables. A strange, almost disjunct, combination of varied types and nationalities of items with few choices in each category: rice bowls (4), salad bowls (5), noodle bowls (4), small plates (7), soups (2), sushi (4), kids Wei (5), deserts (3), soft drinks, teas (3), beer and wine (see menu online). Service was rather slow even with few people in restaurant. Their 200 restaurants in the USA bear a strange name. The Urban Dictionary provides 2 definitions for pei wei: [1] to eat noodles off someones naked stomach and [2] Personification of an exhausted [I censored] due to [I censored] activity, usually with a girlfriend. BAD!!. The food is gross the rice is hard and there workers they dont know how to cook you think they would hire people that know what there doing. there workers there look like they all do drugs.just like pf changs food just sucks.maybe if they hire people that know what there doing i would go back but intil then i will tell everyone not too goo enless you want the craps and stay on the toilet for 2 hours.i would NOT go!
Know Before You Go. Pei Wei is a mostly hit-and-miss affair. The Thai dishes are very good, and for better or worse, among the best Thai you’ll find locally. The soups are also excellent, though the rest of the appetizers are uninspired. Everything else is pretty standard fare, but the Kung Pao is mediocre and I have no idea what the Spicy Korean is supposed to be other than tons of salt with little heat. The teas are just as disgusting as what you get from PF Chang’s, and the Chili paste is very clumsily executed.I eat here often because of where I work, so I’ve had the chance to try just about everything on the menu. There’s good value in the soups and Thai anything, and there aren’t many bad dishes, but if you’re gonna spend $12 on lunch, make sure you get your money’s worth. Great staff, very clean, conveniently located.
Portion sizes were great. Attentive crew. Always enjoy it !
A lite version of P.F. Changs. Love the lettuce wraps. Had several good take-out meals from here. Portions were just about as large as P.F. Changs (their owner).
Great lower budget Asian food. Fast food version oF pf changs. Always good. This location has some outdoor seating.
