Just ate lunch here -had the basa sandwich w fries. The sandwich was good, but the fish was mostly breading and I didn’t entirely like the flavor. The fries were hot and fresh -crispy, as ordered. The owner served me 3 hush puppies gratis, which were a bit burnt, but very flavorful and completely fresh. When I went to pay I was charged over $1 more than the menu price. I noted it seemed higher than the menu, but no effort was made to confirm. That was disappointing. I don’t know if I will be back, but do recommend for a 1st visit.

Jay and Gayla Lawrence. Good down home cooking, family atmosphere. Eat and feel like you are at home. EXCELLENT food.
A family restaurant. Come in and enjoy the neighborhood and the food too. We enjoyed the people as much as the good food, ample baskets with homemade hushpuppies & slaw. Hot & fresh. We’d stop here again.
