Ate here last nt -had the riblet plate. The ribs had excellent flavor, but were a bit dry and there were too many small bones and connecting cartilage to sort through. The bq beans and slaw were both very fresh. The slaw was very good -the sweet mayo type. The beans were not very flavorful and I would have preferred less sweet. Their sauces were all very good to excellent. The sweeter one was somewhat, but not too much with a little spiciness to it. That was excellent. I will be back and readily recommend, but on a next visit I’ll stick with the beef or pork plates. They can have the bones, etc. I’ll take the meat. You may also want to avoid Sa nts and all the families with shrieking kids. Those parents who let their kids do that are a menace. May the gators chase them all away. The screaming kids and the drolling country music they played made me want to only come off hrs and bring ear plugs.
You are in Immokalee, the Mexican food is great. But you want barbecue: Ok, this is a pit BBQ (they have a good pit master) that doesn’t use rubs, good smoke flavor and the sauces are ok, meat was not dry, sides are average, service is solid.
