Pretty good food. Fun atmosphere. Staff was friendly and polite. The Blackened Basa is delicious. My wife had the burger and thought it was pretty good too.
A fun place to go. Quaint. Not high end but the food is good. Onion rings are excellent. Friendly service. Great neighbourhood pub style. Everyone seems to know each other.
Local spot – don’t go for the location but DO go for a great tasty lunch and spirits. My guy got the cheesesteak sandwich – contrary to previous reviews it was awesome – tender not mushy flavorful with excellent bun. I had the Ruben with pastrami that couldn’t be topped by the best ny deli. Right, no sides included (eg fries but did offer chips or coleslaw) but for the price we could have ordered separately and still found this to be a good value. We are still smiling at having stumbled into spankey s. We will be back k if finding our way passing thru again. (Ps sit in the barber chairs if open and take a trip back to the fiftys (60’s?)watching spanky and the gang episodes!)
Local pub. We had a lunch in this unique speakeasy. Entering you find model airplanes hanging in the ceiling and memorabilia all over the place. They even have a table with 4 barber chairs at it, very fun decor. The menu has a little bit for everyone. Looking it over we felt the burger was the choice here, and we were right! The burger was fresh, juicy and had a wonderful bun. Service started out great but we lost her towards the end. Nice people all over the place. The bar looked inviting. it is a local hang out as everyone knew each other. I would go back gladly!
The WORST food I’ve ever encountered. Had a filet with bleu cheese crumbles , the most mushie nasty tasting steak EVER !! McDonald’s food is 1000% better than this establishments and that is soooo sad . Don’t go there !
Great atmosphere with awesome service. Had the prime rib special for $12. Definitely worth the visit!
Didn’t like the service, prices, or atmosphere. Charged extra for soda refills & pricy food found cheaper and tastier at most chain resturants. Shame too because we like to patronize local establishments.
