I went in with really high expectations. The chicken taco and chicken quesadilla was fabulous. The other proteins were not great. I found them a bit dry and didn’t really have great flavor. I do like the place & will give the other proteins a second chance. I love the chicken, so I will order that again on my return.
Best authentic Mexican restaurant we have been to in many years.
Hidden Mexican Paradise!!. Once you open the doors of this little building, your nose is attacked with scents of grilled meats, oil, and spices. Did I just drool on the doorstep?FOODI have asked the pork quesadilla to marry me. Although its 50 cents pricier, has the same size, with the only visible difference of added white cheesethe quesadillas pork was juicier and more flavorful. The ceviche also had an addicting sour bite to itafter I drained it of the bit of seafood (I didnt expect a lot of protein for only $2.00) I added the remaining tomato and onions to my tacoswow!Normally, my family and I down hella spicy salsas like shots. But since we had my mild-loving Mom with us, I asked for mild salsa. Either we lost our touch or were misheard, but that dark, dark red sauce was freakin spicy!!! (I hope we were just misunderstood)SERVICEI could see a few people in the kitchen but mostly it was one young lady doing the seating, serving, and cash outshe was probably also the only one who could speak English. Somehow the kitchen already ran out of two beloved ingredients (tripe and sausage) early into the dinner hour… luckily they were quick to tell me and suggest an alternative.
Best tacos in town. You have to try the pork! Awesome.
