  I’m a local guy always love to take the family out on a airboat tour finally made my way down to Tippy’s and I have to say its the best ride I had so far. Captain Carlos took us out on a 50 min tour were we visited a Indian village were native Americans once lived out there we seen a huge alligator maybe 13 or 15 feet are captain showed us the inside of the alligators mouth told us about there jaw pressure what they eat and how the native Americans once lived he was very informative never had a ride were the captain showed us as much as he did I give this place 5 stars and would recommend anybody to go there

  Family Adventurer. Went out the the big hunting expedition over the weekend. We found this spot by accident, terrific.. The food was excellent, cooked to perfection. A really nice assortment of beef, pork, chicken. The owner recently started cooking there and from now on this will be a favorite spot of our families..A great adventure for the family …

  Great atmosphere!. We were just enjoying the day on our airboat and were coming in or the day, wet and hungry, when the smell of BBQ and campfires just about drove us crazy. Thankfully we followed the smell and came upon Tippy’s! The people let us tie our airboat to their dock and they put some more logs on the fire while our meals were being prepared. We were even offered some dry clothes!! This was perhaps some of the best BBQ I have ever eaten. It is cooked and served on beautiful outdoor dock overlooking the Everglades. We just sat around the campfire and ate. We plan on returning to this place whenever we visit from Jacksonville.

  Fantastic location for some good eats. Stopped in this past Sunday — the guys who run the joint said they’ve been there for (I think) three months.The Tamiami Trail doesn’t have a whole lot of options, so finding this was a nice surprise.There’s a great dock/deck out back on the canal with prime ‘gator viewing, as well as higher tables under a chickee roof.The only ‘que that was ready when we drove up was pulled pork, so we enjoyed a sandwich with a side pickle and good baked beans. GREAT variety of sauces — we loved the mustard-based one.The rock’n’roll is playing all the time: I think it will become a prime feature…ask the guys about it.
