Simply the best in Miami PERIOD. Nothing against Misha’s but it isn’t even close since Misha’s has gone commercial! Anyone who says otherwise doesn’t know food
After listening to people rave about these cupcakes I decided to try one. Let me summarize it: DISAPPOINTMENT.
Went here for the first time ever today. Girl behind the counter was sweet and friendly, cupcakes looked yummy (12 different flavors on display). I got a red velvet cupcake and I got my boyfriend an Oreo cupcake. He loves buttercream and gave his cupcake an 8/10. Recognizing that I am partial to cream cheese frosting, I was not as crazy about mine– still, for presentation and quality of cake itself I give mine a 7/10. I will be back for his birthday but I much prefer Cheesecake factory’s red velvet cupcakes.
Best cupcakes in South Miami/Coral Gables. I’ve tried all the cupcakes in Miami and these are by far the best. The others taste like pure sugar or have no flavor at all. Buttercream is just simple and delicious. I love their vanilla peanut butter and I wish it wasn’t only available on Thursday. They aren’t the best cupcakes ever if you live in cupcake meccas like NY and LA but they are delicious. My coffee experience has been up and down, the first time I got a cappuccino it was awesome but the second 2 times it just tasted like milk.
Miami’s 2nd best. Buttercream, buttercream, buttercream, oh how I love thee. A close second place to Misha’s wonderful creations. Their red velvet cake consistency was simple, nothing to write home about but it was their frosting that made this cupcake absolutely delicious! A cross between buttercream and pumpkin spice in flavor. Their triple chocolate was mediocre at best. It had way too much frosting that well, didn’t taste much like chocolate. Other things to praise include their cupcake rewards card and the fact that they actually sold [hot] tea here. I like to eat my cupcakes with tea, don’t judge.
Best Cupcakes in Miami!. The best thing about Buttercream Cupcakes is that they are all about the taste. From the simple vanilla flavor to the red velvet cake (my personal favorite), they are so delicious. I also appreciate the simplicity of the cupcakes. Some of the other nearby cupcake spots may have a fancier display, but what does that really matter if the frosting is overly sweet or tastes more like boxed cupcakes? Plus the owners are genuinely sweet, good people. I’ve tasted several other cupcakes in the area, and they do not compare!
Buttercream’s a Bust. Buttercream boasts a wide array of cupcakes – from plain old vanilla to more exotic flavors such as lime or chocolate orange. But there are two problems: 1. Certain flavors are only offered on select days of the week. 2. They start at $2.75 per cupcake ($33 for a dozen), so it’s a pricey little treat.
