The various coffee drinks are okay and so is the breakfast, but bottom line is this: dont go here because the service is atrocious. Really, and Im not picky at all. But theyll get your order wrong, forget something, and then take over an hour to give you your wrong order.
OK but terrible Spanish Omelet. The coffee is good and the lattes have the cute sugar/cinnamon heart on the foam, but the recommendation from the hotel was to have the Spanish omelet and it was awful. More like a potato quiche: all potato with a bit of egg to bind it together; very disappointing. Primarily carbs; no veggies. The Demetrio’s sandwich, on the other hand, was great although the potato chips were stale (too much humidity, I’m sure). Regular tomato/lettuce on wheat bread but the turkey & cheese had been heated so it was a lovely hot/cold sandwich. Those mayo/mustard packets are terrible though; that is very MacDonald’s and should be changed to little cups of each. The outside deck looked nice but July is just too hot/muggy to sit outside for long (we were from the Bay Area).Parking in the area is terrible; and this was on a Wednesday morning. Had to park in the bank parking garage across the street and it is $1.50 for every 20 mins. Ugh.Overall: I have been in better coffee shops. For this area in Coral Gables, it might be the best; do not know since I am from out of town and was only in the area for 2 days.

Great for working & chatting. Excellent place to get some work done or bring friends for coffee or a nice glass of wine. There’s chess if you want to play, a super-cool 5 cent oldstyle movie viewer in the corner, plus live music on Friday nights.
