This is a great new addition to the Miami eating scene. I found the food to be both delicious and inventive. I would recommend eating family style and trying a variety of dishes and you will likely be fighting over the last bites. Their twist on a dirt cup was both fun and extremely tasty and even though it was huge, I would have gladly ate another.

I’ve driven by this location on Saturday’s and Sunday’s but decided to skip it because there’s always a huge crowd and the wait is more than 1 hour. Went for a late lunch at 2PM and there was no wait. The restaurant is a casual gastro pub with limited seating and a small bar for wine and beer, no liquor. The decora is dark yet comfortable and hip with wood paneling throughout. There is also a Miami Heat theme with several pieces of memorabilia. I get the sense though that it’s not really kid or large party friendly. The staff is great, very helpful, knowledgable and fun. I had the carrot soup of the day. It was light, flavorful and delicious. I also ordered the heirloom tomato’s. This is a delectably unique dish with a vast range of contrasting fresh ingredients such as mint and frozen coconut milk. I thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience but was mildly disappointed by being charged $0.50 for water and $1.00 for the toast that accompanied the soup. Definitely not a deal breaker, just not accustomed to being nickel and dimed. It felt unnecessary and thus I’m rating this restaurant less than the staff and food deserve. This should not deter you as I will revisit often and look forward to experiencing the dinner and brunch menus.

The brunch was great as far as the food went, but the customer service was horrible. It was painful to watch the owner ball out each server and then tell our waiter to get our large party out. I asked the waiter if there were free refills on ice tea. He said yes and then changes the story later after being pressed by the owner. I frankly have never seen such bad behavior for a manager owner. My sons Batchelor party was there as well and the men were told to leave as well. I don’t recommend this Resturant

Bad service for families. Been going there for years. Got the bum’s rush on a Saturday night when I went with my foodie teenagers. Giorgio was there. Very disappointed. Ruined the night. Won’t go back. No way to treat regulars who eat and tip well.

AMAZING restaurant, seriously go here for brunch. Only thing is you must make a reservation, place is small so seating is limited but the food is soo worth it! Cap’n crunch pancakes, torrejas, and calentado were all perfect. Even the cocktails were yummy, fun take on a mimosa with tang!

Waste of time. When we arrived, the restaurant was full and a handful of folks were waiting outside. The running the line told us he would have tables getting up around 11:45 and although we were not next up, we should sit down soon. 11:45 rolls around, a couple people who were in front of us sit. We should sit soon right? A little after noon, all sorts of people are walking out and we still have not sat. He then changes his tune and tells us we might be able to sit at 12:15 but we are going to be wait-listed behind other people with reservations. He didn’t seem to care that we had been waiting, and acted more he was managing the front door of a night club rather than a restaurant. Horrible customer service! Learn to set and manage customer expectations properly. We left and went to Swine and had a fabulous brunch. Will update if we ever consider returning.

Eating House was not what I expected. I like to eat well, to try new places, one of my students recommended me the eating House, I went tonight very happy and expecting new flavours as I was told. Finally we get a table, a nice waiter recommended we should try at least 5 dishes because they are suppose to share… the appetisers are good, very recommended, but we decide to try the pork belly and the sea scallops as a main course… very disappointed of those plates….we asked for our tab, amazingly expensive and when we got out from the place smelling to grease and other bad oddor that one should never never get in a restaurant that expensive as we paid and food not so great as we were told. the feeling was not so good. maybe next time, with next menu as they say they change it every week.
