This is cabrito lechal with baked potatoes and red sweet pepers,so delicious,as good a any place in Spain or the canary island…10 Feb, 2013Los Gallegos restaurant is offering a great Spanish food at reasonable price, the cochinillo is the best in Miami… Los callos ,los garbanzos and most of the fish are like been in Spain, their wine are of best quality at great price…try the Albario Lagar de bouza or the Aljibes 100% Cabernet franc and you will be at this restaurant every week….enjoy..
Excellent tapas. Ate at Los Gallegos many times when we lived in Miami, but it had gone downhill (dirty), and we found other spots. On a family visit, we decided to give it another try, and glad we did. Excellent………….cleaned up the place quite a bit. Spotless in fact. With tableclothes, etc.A small place on the corner of Red and Bird near Coral Gables. Probably no more than 8 tables plus a bit of counter service. Very traditional Spanish style tapas. Wonderful Bacalao croquettes, chorizo in wine, serrano ham, manchego cheese, excellent caldo gallego, sardines, one of the better tortilla espanola I have had…………all in all, a great little spot, and we look forward to returning.
A wonderful trip to Spain. This small restaurant on Bird Road recently changed hands, and what was a very special Spanish place serving delilcious seafood and various tapas has become fantastic. We had a wonderful seafood soup, superb grilled sardines, a delightful salad and flavorful tortilla. The ample glass of wine was excellent and the service attentive and accommodating, since we shared most dishes. This restaurant was favorably described in an article in the Miami Herald. I had put a link here, but it seems to no longer be working. The last time I was there the food was still delicious, but they had stopped serving sardines…sigh.
