Miami’s Best Sushi. I’ve been dining at Matsuri since the mid-90s and have always found it to be top-notch. We go there regularly and are never disappointed.
Simply the best sushi in Miami. Stay away people is becoming too popular!!
Been going there for nearly 20 years and never had a bad meal!
Excellent little place. Worth the short wait on a weekend night. Food quality was very good. Service was just ok. Well priced and varied menu.

Matsuri Disappointing. 6 of us went for dinner Friday evening on April 20th. I made reservations for 8 PM. The owner did not seat us until 8:30. When I asked him why he wasn’t honoring reservations, he ignored me. The restaurant has no organized system for booking reservations. Many people were waiting with the same complaint. Our server did not know the menu. She said the oysters on a sashimi platter could be substituted with fish for additional money which was fine. Then she brought the platter with oysters saying the food could not be substituted. The dishes were thrown onto the table. The server rushed us. The sashimi was fair. None of us were happy with the mediocrity of the meal. We will not return. When we left the restaurant, we walked over to a yogurt bar. A couple of people there asked if we had eaten at Matsuri and then told us they were upset and did not enjoy the meal. They would also not return.
