Outstanding!. Very nice wine list (about 7 pages or so of wine). Friendly, knowledgeable staff. The food has a full, rich, pleasant flavor and also has a beautiful presentation. Nice ambiance. Will definitely continue going back to this restaurant.
I’m never disappointed when I come here every year for my wedding anniversary <3
GO HERE. I had the pleasure of dining here for my college graduation. I’ve eaten food all around Miami and the world, and I have to say this is one of my favorite restaurants. When you spend a decent amount of money eating, you expect great service and great food, and this is what you get at Palme d’OrTo begin with, the dining room is very intimate and quiet. You can hardly even see the other people in the restaurant even when it’s full. We were seated as soon as we arrived, and the excellent service continued from there on out.The amuse bouche was delicious, as were the breads and what looked like homemade butter to go along with them. All of our appetizers, entrees and desserts were fantastic. The depth of flavor was incredible in all the dishes and the waitstaff was very knowledgable as to the preparation and ingredients of each dish. If you’re a foodie and interested in learning while you eat, this is a great place to go.Overall, I couldn’t have been happier eating here for a special occasion. I highly recommend it to anyone that likes French food or food in general.
The reputation is well-deserved. Wonderful food and superb service here every time.
Miami’s finest restaurant. We live in Miami and have dined all over town, but the restaurant that consistently serves the most delectable, artfully presented and nicely balanced meals is the Palme d’Or. French chef Phillpe Ruiz is an internationally recognized master chef. With his matre d’ and sommelier Sebastien Verrier he manages an unusually well trained and attentive staff. The menus change with the seasons, each night there are specials not on the menu, and what you don’t see on the menu are the extra courses including an amouz-bouche presented before the appetizer and some special dessert treats at the very end of the meal. Visit the restaurant’s web-site for the additional dessert menu and wine list. Currently on Thursdays chef Ruiz also offers a most heavenly and substantial bouillabaisse which with appetizer is offered for a fixed price (see web site). I haven’t mentioned the ambience, which is lovely and romantic, located in a prime spot within the spectacular Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables.’
Very exquisite. Probably the best meal I have ever eaten on this Earth. Too bad my dining partner was my boss and not my spouse, as I was staying at the Biltmore Hotel on business. Pricey but worth it. The absolute best filet I have ever enjoyed. Very gourmet restaurant run by a chef who clearly knows what he’s doing.
SUPERB. The Biltmore Hotel is incredible. To find a restaurant that can compete with it is no easy feat. However, the multi tier service staff, gorgeous artistry of food plating and setting of the biltmore keep this place right in line with the hotel. One of the finest meals I’ve had. Pricey, but worth every penny.
