A good lunch option in Coral Gables, especially if you like Peruvian food. Pardos is part of a chain of restaurants based in Peru that specializes in chicken, but that also offers classic traditional food like ceviche, tiraditos, fish, and salads. This is not a gourmet restaurant but it serves its purpose. miamismith.com
Thumbs Down. Terrible Service, Terrible Ceviche, Overpriced. Not going Back.
Unfriendly, unattentive service. Our table was sticky. Chicken is ok but it does not compare with Pardos in Lima. Jalea mixta is good. Overpriced menu.
Oh my g_d. I would like to have a bigger stomag. Lol exellence in service, owner on spot., ready to help. Thumbs up.!!!!
A taste of Lima in Miami. A++. Wonderful experience from every aspect. Outstanding service, and excellent food! Not to mention the chicha morada hummm outstanding !! The atmosphere was fun, and the menu has anything one could want for a modern peruvian’s traditional and fusion gourmet dishes..Well located in Coral GablesFM
Food was great, service was only fair.. We loved the food, but must rate the service only fair. The manager was very nice, personable and friendly and he saved the night for the waitress who seemed to be overwhelmed with too many tables and hardly came by to check on anything. Water and other beverages were offered and served only once the entire meal. Now for the good: Everything we tasted from the Ceviche to the weekend special Jalea Mixta (a large serving of lightly breaded shrimp, very fresh fish and calamari with a lime, tomato and onion sauce) and Peruvian sweet corn on the cob with very large kernels, served with a mildly spicy sauce was super delicious. Definitely recommend!
If you want to eat good Rotisserie chicken just keep going to Publix!!! If you want excellent Peruvian cuisine walk two more blocks and go to Aromas. Pardo’s service and food is a complete disappointment. The causas tasted like vinegar and looked like they had been sitting in the refrigerator for a week. The tiraditos tasted fishy and also looked like they were keeping the causas company in the refrigerator. Our server barely spoke English and his Spanish kept us wondering if we had to learn a special dialect to dine at this establishment. Poor food and poor service a must not go.
