So disappointed. Went to the one in Buenos Aires and loved it. My dad went to this one when they first opened and thought it was good so we went together. The service was awful. We went in between lunch and dinner hours and it was chaos. The waiter rushed us to order bc the cook was leaving and we couldn’t get all the meat we wanted bc they left right after we ordered. The buffet was very small and mediocre. I ordered churrasco and it was just a ball of fat I couldn’t even eat it. There is.no reason I’d ever go back here.
Disappointed. We went after purchasing a travelzoo voucher. Our friends had told us they had heard good things about this place. The restaurant itself is beautiful. It’s in a great location in the Gables and had a great look inside. The food was the disappointment. We went on a Thursday night so that could have been the reason. But I found the salad bar was very limited. The meats appeared as if they had been cooked earlier in the day and they were just reheating them. The ribs were hard as a rock. Glad I had the voucher because if I had to pay full price I would have been upset.
Dry cold tough meat. Need I say more. when you leave meat on a grill it gets dry. you need too cook it and let it rest so juices do not escape before cutting it. 101. not leave on the grill for who knows how long at who knows what temperature. LEFTOVERS.
The food was food, I like my meat well done and the guy really couldn’t get it exactly right but it was still good. The service was unbelievable, I had a Cuban waiter who outdid himself to serve us and that was great. The price was right I would say because you have drinks included and desert. It also looks very nice in and out
