This is a great restaurant with a menu that stands out in an area with an abundance of dining choices. It’s a unique gastro pub style casual dining experience with a thirst quenching selection of beers, whiskey, scotch and one of kind mixed drinks. The restaurant is small but makes great use of space for tables and a large bar. We decided on an early dinner, 5pm and by 530pm both the tables and bar were full. The staff is great, knowledgeable, attentive and fun. We had the sweetbreads, casserole, shrimp and charcuteries. All were delicately prepared, delicious and had contrasting flavors. I especially liked the casserole, it was creamy but lite, the vegetables were cooked correctly and the crunchy bacon balanced the flavor and texture. The charcuteries were also an excellent choice with a delectable assortments of meats, cheese, mustard, jelly, pickle and toasted bread. For desert we had a crispy crusted and moist center brownie pie. We will definitely frequent here to continue our journey through the thoughtfully constructed menu.
Had an excellent dinner here with my wife. The dessert was one of the best ever. it was some sort of bread pudding. Service was good.
They only have dark beers. A lot of people are into that it seems. When it’s steaming hot outside I’d rather have a cold pale lager. Other than that it seems cool. I liked the music. If they had my kind of beer I’d go there a lot.
The local is the best kept secret. Love the kale salad.
Everything here is amazing. I’m glad I don’t live in the area, otherwise I would over indulge on the fries, popcorn, or anything else. The menu is well executed – nice job!
Went here on Sunday and as a vegetarian had only a couple of choices on the menu. I ended up with a very small salad that had only a few pieces of lettuce. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll make it back for a second try..
Seriously, what’s all the buzz about? Good beer selection, but that’s it.
