I purchased a groupon to try this restaurant as I am from the Caribbean and am always looking to support my fellow islanders. First of all, the website shows delicious food pics and I couldn’t wait to take my sister there. I was very disappointed. This restaurant has the same exact menu as The Dutch Pot restaurant and similar pricing. We went at 5pm this past Sunday. The tables were not cleaned off, the food was barely room temperature. The taste was ok, not your true Caribbean flavor, not the usual spicy flavorful taste one would expect. Even with the groupon I felt that i overpaid for less than satisfactory food. I ordered a regular size and a large only to get the same amount of food in both. In fact I got more meat in the medium sized order than the large. I read reviews on other sites that all gave thumbs up and I am convinced that they must be part owners or friends or definitely not island people, because we know what our food is supposed to taste like and this did not make the grade.I’m sure other’s will enjoy this food if they are not from the islands and don’t know what to expect, but being of Bahamian and Trinidadian descent after having lived in both countries, sadly I have to say I was not impressed in the least.

Go early or they will give u stale food. If u don’t go by lunch they will give u old food. Had the oxtail and it was dry almost threw up. Not worth the 12.5
