This Place has potential. …. This Place has potential. I like the design of this joint. Sitting at the bar outside in Coral Springs can’t be beat. Even though the view is of cars whizzing by on University Drive. I don’t care, I like being outside. Plus, the cozy outdoor couches give this place a relaxed vibe. Also I love the men’s toilet with the pull chain to flush it. Reminds me of the toilet at 15 street Fisheries. By the way, a high school best friend and former roommate of mine who is a big wig with Chilis told me years ago that you can judge the cleanliness of a restaurant’s kitchen by how clean the bathroom is. That statement has stayed with me ever since and I believe it. So I pay attention to everything folks including the damn bathroom. So good news this bathroom is sparkly clean and have fun pulling the chain to the toilet LOL. Bartenders/Management are friendly and they have a reasonably priced happy hour. They have two for one on certain draft beers/wine and reduced priced appetizers. Great deal! I had the fried risotto balls and they were fantastic. For five bucks you get three balls ( insert joke there) and a side of marinara sauce. These balls were fried perfectly and were very creamy inside LOL. Sorry I can be so juvenile sometimes. I also had the clam chowder which was delicious. This clam chowder was different from any type I have had before because it was a clear broth. Nice chunks potato and good amount of clams really rounded out this soup. It tasted like clams. I know that sounds stupid but if you try this you will know what I mean. The pizza isn’t to shabby. They served it on a bakers tray and the large is well….large:) it’s thin crust with the burnt looking crust. It was tasty but it ain’t cheap folks. But then again, this isn’t your 5 buck Hot Ready pizza either. The style of cooking and the taste of the ingredients makes it worth the money. I originally wrote this review a several weeks ago. Since then I’ve been back maybe at least 20 times. I really like this place and it’s kinda grown on me. Remember to tell them Dan sent you. Stay Hungry!

Have eaten at Nicks a couple of times. Food is excellent, service is decent and portions are huge. The place is noisy and a bit on the pricy side, but worth a try. Don’t forget the meatballs, out of this world.

Coral Springs has needed a place like this for a long time. Great food, great atmosphere, friendly staff.

Smoking!. Tried to eat here the other day. It was difficult to find someone to seat you and then lots of servers walked by the table but never came over. Meanwhile, almost all the windows were open letting out most of the a/c in this heat plus the hot ovens made it not cool in there. But the absolute worst was the smoking that’s allowed at the bar. Yuck. So if being warm in the summer while breathing smoke is your thing while trying to eat, this is for you! Got up and left after the smoking started, and by the way, still no one had come over anyway to even offer to take an order. Too many good places around to breathe secondhand smoke while eating. Nope.
