DISAPPOINTED. I have ordered breakfast many times from Rob’s bageland. My office orders at least 3-4 times a week. Today all of a sudden they tell me there is a 15 dollar min for delivery. We are one block away, they have come her many times with just even a bagel and a drink, we tip them well but 15 dollars for breakfast is ridiculous. Then the lady on the phone has the audacity to hang up when I asked her about it. WOW. I will never order from them again. The food isn’t even that good and half of the time it is cold. I do not recommend anyone check this place out. The cook is the delivery guy and he comes in his apron. They are disgusting and very rude people.
Salad. Chicken salad
Wonderful!. I’ve eaten breakfast here and really enjoyed the nova, eggs and onion omelette. Today I picked up bagels, bialys, whitefish salad, and herring in cream sauce for dinner I made for my family. Everything was fresh and just delicious. The bagels and bialys were just as good as NY. The whitefish salad was perfect and extremely good quality. The herring in cream sauce with onions was really the best herring I’ve ever had – the cream sauce was real cream and not sweet like some others. My family enjoyed everything so much and they are very fussy about their food!
? Bagel Land. Obviously the locals around here who seem to be mostly NY-ers forget what a real tasty , fresh bagel tastes like. These were the WORST tasting bagels and at 8:45 am were NOT Fresh at all. Sad to say Panera bet’s this place by 2 miles !
When ordering take out..CHECK YOUR BAGS..i am a regular customer and get shorted ALOT..nothing worse than coming home ready for a good meal..forgot creme cheese ..forgot the bacon..etc..think I am going to stop going .really starting to get on my last nerve
Stay far away!!!! On my last visit, it took over twenty minutes to not get a smoked fish platter, while the couple next to me on both sides were able to receive custom egg omlettes and one gentleman a side of sliced lox. When asked where is my order the waitress stated they are working in it but when asked why so long there was no response. The manager was an even bigger pleasure with her response he’s working on three platters. Her attitude went even more down the drain when we cancelled the order. But her last bit of customer service was the best when she stated I should go back to New York. Perhaps I will where I can get fresh bagels that are not reheated after being frozen.
Sometimes I Eat Like A Third Grader. Next to dark and dank English Pubs my next favorite stop on the Gastro-Train would be Deli’s. The type of place where the owner works behind the counter and if you come in often enough he has your meal made by the time you get to your seat. Bageland reminds of just this type of place. The menu was vast but not overwhelming…….most of the eating crew settled for your typical breakfast choices and I was headed down the same road till I spied……..Cap’n Crunch French Toast on the menu..this could be the Holy Grail of breakfast foods…….French Bread coated in Cap’n Crunch then covered with powdered sugar and then a side of syrup for dipping…..without hesitation or embarrassment I ordered it……..and the waitress didn’t even snicker. The Cap’n Crunch French Toast did not disappoint, even without the Cap’n Crunch it would have been perfection. As far as everyone’s meal I have no idea…..I guess they were good, their plates were clean.Try this place. fricksworld.blogspot.com
